Roger Lee Frowein

Roger Lee Frowein, 76, of Macomb passed away at 4:28 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Macomb Post Acute Care in Macomb.
He was born on November 9, 1946 in Macomb to Harold and Carita Wilhelm Frowein.
Roger was a life long resident of Macomb. He was a graduate of Macomb High School in 1964 and Northeast Missouri State in 1969.
He is survived by his sister, Karen Helmers of Macomb; first cousin, Carol Levin of Arizona; several other cousins and special family, Robert and Paula Blythe and family of LaHarpe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Carita Frowein and his brother-in-law, Richard Helmers.
Roger was a member and Past President of the McDonough County Historical Society and the McDonough County Genealogical Society. He worked for many years for West Side Lumber in Macomb.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Reverend A. Lee Unger officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb.
Memorials may be made to the McDonough County Genealogical Society.
