Barbara J Lieber

Barbara J. Lieber, 80, of Macomb passed away at 5 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2023 at her residence.
She was born on July 10, 1943 in Galesburg to George and Hattie Ellenberg Bland. She married Jerry Lieber on September 2, 1965 in Rio. He survives.
Also surviving are her son, Doug (Keri) Lieber of Milan; daughter, Stephanie Capps of Macomb; granddaughter, Abbagale Lieber; grandson, Cody Capps; sister, Sandy (Ed) Gullstrand;  brother, Gary (Sandy) Ellenberg and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several aunts and uncles.
Barbara has lived in Macomb since 1969. She worked as a hairdresser and worked at Mid America Bank.
She also was the bookkeeper for Lieber Electric.
She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Macomb.
Grave side services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Oak Lawn Cemetery north of Galesburg with Pastor Dr. Scott Grulke officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb.
Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist, MDH Hospice or HSMC New Animal Shelter.
