Betty I. Craig, age 85, of Macomb, formerly of Table Grove and Industry, passed away at 8:15 AM on Sunday February 28, 2021 at the Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb. She was born on September 10, 1935 in New Salem, Illinois, the daughter of Archie and Lula Bell Neece Bigsby.
She is survived by her children Kenneth Craig of Macomb, Bill (Charlotte Johnston) Craig of Macomb and Tommy(Kelly) Craig of Macomb, one brother Lee Bigsby of Galesburg, six grandchildren Jeremy(Raine) Craig, James Inman, Randy Inman, Alisha Emerick, Rebecca Wright, and Heather Bishop, 15 great-grandchildren, and 21 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Barbara Jean Craig, great granddaughter Arianna Inman, brothers Clarence Jack Bigsby Sr., and Levi T. Bigsby, sister Fae Hall, and daughter-in-law’s Sandi Craig, and Judith Bigsby.
Betty had lived in Table Grove, and Industry, and later moved to Macomb. If you knew her, she loved fishing and cooking the fish. She also loved her animals Little Girl and Scrappy Doo. She was big on her family being around and having cookouts. She loved her music, and she had the biggest heart and had a lot of love for everyone.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be held from noon until 2 PM on March 5, 2021 at the Clugston Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM on March 5, 2021 at the Good Hope Cemetery. Rev. Lee Unger will officiate. You may sign the guestbook and leave online condolences at clugston-tibbitts.com.
