Beulah Mae Self, 93, of Beardstown, formerly of Macomb passed away to her heavenly home at 4:40 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at Heritage Manor in Beardstown.
Beulah Self was born on February 2, 1928 in Fandon, Illinois to Herbert and Nellie Marie Flint Harding. She married Ralph Self on October 26, 1946 in Macomb. He passed away on September 10, 1999.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Cathy Medaugh; son-in-law, Eldon Medaugh; son, Jack Self; great-granddaughter, Alyssa Edwards; sister, Wanda McSperritt; brother, Delbert Harding; and brother-in-laws, Larry VanFleet and Robert McSperritt.
Beulah is survived by sons, Larry (Sandra) Self of Macomb, Gary (Shari) Self of Greenville, Illinois, Alan (Kay) Self of Macomb; daughter, Penny Self of Rushville; 12 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Luella VanFleet of Blandinsville; sister-in-law, Judy Harding of Ohio and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She worked as a dietary aid at the Everly House in Macomb for many years. She is member of the Church of God in Macomb.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Private graveside services will be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb. There will be no visitation.
