Obituary
Caleb E. Stewart, 24, of Macomb passed away at 1:09 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
He was born on September 1, 1998 in Peoria to David and Melinda Spurlock Stewart.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Melinda (Reverend Charles Martin) Stewart of Macomb; father, David Stewart of Indiana; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews including Cathy Lane of Bushnell, several cousins and his paternal grandfather, Glen Stewart.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and paternal grandmother.
Caleb has lived in Macomb for 15 years. He worked for New Horizons Lawn Care.
Creamtion rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Chandler Park in Macomb with Pastor Doug Kuster and Reverend Charles Martin officiating. There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Caleb Stewart Memorial Fund and can be mailed to 421 South Dudley Street in Macomb in care of Melinda Stewart or 742 North Dean Street in Bushnell in care of Cathy Lane.
