Obituary
Cindy Lee Leighty, 65, of rural Vermont passed away at 12:04 a.m. Monday, September 18, 2023 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born on January 15, 1958 to Clarence and Darlene Rindal Forman. She married Joe Leighty in 1983. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Darlene Forman of Blandinsville; one son, Joey (Jessica) Leighty of Vermont; one daughter, Nickie (Gene) Icenogle of Industry; one step-daughter, Tiffany (Larry) Hale of Mexico, Missouri; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Daryl (Cheri Kiper) Forman, Rodney Forman and Scott (Theresa) Forman; two sisters; Durene (Johnny) Corey and Debbie (Jay) Kendrick and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; one step-daughter, Brandy Parry and one brother, Don Forman.
Cindy has lived in Eldorado Township for 40 years. She loved working in her garden and growing flowers.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services.
Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
