David Noteboom Obituary

David “Boomer” Noteboom, 77, of Macomb passed away at 11:56 a.m.Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Springfield.
He was born on July 21, 1945 in Chicago to James and Dorothy Holmberg Noteboom.
He is survived by a daughter, Laurna; several grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Crabbe of Orland Park; one brother, Richard (Sharon) Noteboom of Flushing, Michigan; one sister-in-law, Tod Noteboom of Orland Park and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronald and James Noteboom.
Boomer lived most of his adult life in Macomb where he drove a school bus for many years. He was a member of the Macomb First Presbyterian Church, Macomb Elks, Macomb Eagles, Macomb VFW and the Macomb American Legion.
He was a Navy veteran serving from 1966 to 1972.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the Macomb VFW. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorials may be made to the David Noteboom Memorial Fund.
