Dorothy J. "Dot" Finn

Dorothy J. “Dot” Finn, 94, of Macomb passed away at 9:54 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Bickford Cottage in Macomb.
She was born on August 22, 1928 in Blair, Nebraska to Charles and Alice Marie Bucklin Byrne. She married Kenneth Finn on July 9, 1949 in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away on May 29, 1987.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Doris Carraher, Rosalie Shaffer and Lorraine Brock.
Dot is survived by her children. Marilyn (Mitch) Wooldridge of Macomb, Ray (Dianna) Finn of Macomb, Ron Finn of Dallas, Texas, Jerry (Janice) Finn of Grandbury, Texas and Carol Finn of Naples, Florida; five grandchildren, Jeff (Shannah) Finn, John (Hannah) Finn, Jennifer (James) Rouse, Lauren (Drew) Long, Kara Wooldridge; two step-grandchildren, Chris (Tara) Peabody and Vicky (Chad) Brodersen; five great-grandchildren, Jordon Rouse, Jacob Rouse, Jackie Rouse, Emerson Finn and Elise Long and four step-great-grandchildren, Erin Beeler, Devin Brodersen, Reid Brodersen and Haley Beeler.
Dot has lived in Macomb since 1961. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, YMCA Choral Group and numerous bible studies groups.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2022 at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Macomb with Father Adam Stimpson officiating. A memorial mass will be held at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Macomb.
Memorials may be made to either Bickford Cottage or Traditions Hospice.
