Eddie S. Arnold, 68, of Good Hope passed away at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at his residence.
He was born on November 5, 1954 in Macomb to Henry and Ruth Esther Hawkins Arnold. He married Anita Lusk on September 30, 1977 in Littleton. She survives.
Also surviving are his children Eddie (Sharon) Arnold of Good Hope, Eric (Lisa) Arnold of Good Hope, Erin (Joe) Moon of Macomb and Amber (Tyler) Young of Washington; grandchildren, Ali, Blake, Cutler and Diem Arnold, Maddie, Ellen, AJ and Luke Moon, Olivia Young and Tevin Smith; sister, Susan Moulton and sister-in-law, Anna Arnold.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Mike Arnold.
Eddie lived most of his life in McDonough County. He worked as a farm hand and laborer. He was an Army Veteran. He was a member of the Bushnell Masonic Lodge and was a volunteer for the Good Hope Fire and Rescue Squad. He was an avid hunter.
Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services.
Memorials may be made to MDH Hospice or Good Hope Fire and Rescue Squad.
