Gaytha Rigg Hundley Spolum

Gaytha Rigg Hundley Spolum, 83 of Macomb passed away at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Macomb Post Acute Care Center.
She was born on August 15, 1939 in McDonough County to Rolla and Garnett Degarmo Rigg. She married Roy Joseph Hundley. He passed away on June 4, 2006.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one twin brother, Gaylord Rigg.
Gaytha is survived by her children, Dan (Sharon) Hundley of Avon, Sabrina Taylor of Macomb and Shan Hundley of Macomb and Shanna Hundley of Macomb; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and her sibling, Patricia Markland of Canton.
Gaytha lived most of her life in Macomb. She worked in food service at McDonough District Hospital for 24 years before her retirement.
She loved doing crossword puzzles, reading and drawing.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A grave side service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb with Reverend A. Lee Unger officiating. There will be no visitation. 
Memorials may be made to the HSMC New Animal Shelter.
