Obituary
Helen L. Peak, 101, of Macomb passed away at 10:06 a.m Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Macomb Post Acute Care Center.
She was born on October 13, 1920 in Macomb to Matison and Lena Clayton Martin. She married Dale Peak on March 16, 1940 in St. Charles, Missouri. He passed away on May 18, 2001.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Kenneth Peak and three brothers, John, James and Robert Martin.
Helen is survived by one son, Michael (Nancy) Peak of Bellefontaine, Ohio; five grandchildren, Angie, Amy, Stacy, Kenny and Chris; nine great-grandchildren and a special niece, Sharon Torrance.
Helen moved to Canton in 1949 and back to Macomb in 1996. She worked at Do-Right Cleaners in Canton and at Singer Sewing Machine Company. She also cleaned houses before retiring in 1983.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton with Angie Birt officiating. There will be no visitation.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials may be made to Traditions Hospice.
