Holly Rose Lovejoy Iungerich

Holly Rose Iungerich (Lovejoy), 58 of Leander, TX passed away at 12:35 pm Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Cornerstone Specialty Hospital in Austin, TX after a long illness.
She was born on June 25, 1964 in Macomb, IL at McDonough District Hospital to Charles and Caroline Lovejoy. She grew up in Galva, IL and Roseville, IL where she completed high school early and continued her studies at Illinois Weslyan University in Bloomington, IL. She then transferred to Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL where she pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Orville and Mae Lovejoy and Glen and Hazel Becraft and her father Charles Lovejoy.
Holly is survived by her longtime companion Francisco “Frank” Duran of Leander, TX, her sons Justin Iungerich (Chelsea) of California and Corey Iungerich (Virginia) of Alabama, her mother, Caroline Lovejoy, of Georgia, her sisters Celia Strickland (Kent) of Georgia, and April Lovejoy-Trias (Thomas) of Illinois, her nieces Rachael Laverenz of Georgia, Olivia Laverenz Ferguson (Wesley) of Georgia, Emily Laverenz Lynn (Colby) of Georgia and her great niece Ruby Ferguson of Georgia.
She loved art, collecting recipes and cooking. She loved animals and flowers. She loved her family fiercely and was always up for an adventure.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Grave side services will be on July 22, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hickory Grove Cemetery in McDonough County, IL
Memorials may be made to the McDonough County Animal Shelter, Genesis Garden of Macomb, IL or the animal shelter or animal rescue of your choosing.
