Janice Pickard, 91, of Ponte Verdra Beach, Florida, formerly of Macomb, Illinois died on February 27, 2024.
She was born on January 12, 1933 in Rushville, Illinois the daughter of Meyer and Lelsle (Skiles) Kinnear. She married her husband of 70 years, Jack Pickard, on August 30, 1953. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2023.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Perdue of Mount Airy, North Carolina and Commander Patrick Pickard USN (Ret) of Ponte Verda  Beach, Florida.
Janice graduated from Rushville High School and attended Western Illinois University. She worked at the Colchester Savings and Loan from 1955 to1968 and served as a State of Illinois Court Reporter for the 9th Judicial Circuit from 1968 until her retirement in 1992.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held  later this year.
Memorials may be made in her honor to the American Lung Association.
