Jeanette Whitney, 90, of Galesburg, formerly of Industry passed away at 5:10 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Marigold Rehab and Health Care Center in Galesburg.
She was born on March 3, 1934 in Charlotte, North Carolina to Homer D. and Pauline Blackwelder.
She married Edward H. Whitney. He preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie Whitney.
Jeanette is survived by her children, Brad Whitney of Ft. Myers, Florida, Janet (David) Bradley of Las Vegas, Nevada and Allison (Lee) Berggren of Ringwood, Illinois and Bart (Laura) Whitney of Macomb; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was a resident of McDonough County most of her life including Industry.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services.
Memorials may be made to Vitas Service- Hospice in Peoria.
