Jeanie Marie Morrell

Jeanie Marie Morrell, 95, of Macomb, formerly of Sciota passed away at 8:20 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2022 at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb.
She was born on March 4, 1927 in Mt. Ayr, Iowa to Wilburt Clint and Nellie Myrtle Watts Kimball. She married Eugene Morrell on May 3, 1945. He passed away on July 19, 1990.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, John E. Morrell in 2000; one brother, Wilbur Kimball and 15 half-brothers and sisters.
Jeanie is survived by two daughters, Jeanette Ingersoll of Macomb and Connie (Terry) Schindel of Macomb; five granddaughters, Tammy Mosher, Kelly (Kelvin) Cutkomp, Amy (Ron) Hutcherson, Teresa (Steve) Gooden, Jennifer Schindel; seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Carol Cobb; many nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Jeanie lived in Sciota from 1953 to 2014 when she moved to Macomb. She was a former member of the Sciota Methodist Church. She was lovingly known as Gran to everyone. She loved Elvis, animals and bingo.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2022 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Revered A. Lee Unger officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb.
