Judith A. Crowley, 80, of Macomb passed away at 3:15 a.m. Sunday, July 11, 2021 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born on March 31, 1941 in Anthony, Kansas to William H. and Virginia Lewis Head. She married Robert Crowley on April 21, 1962 in Hobart, Oklahoma. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Robyn Crowley of Bloomington, Anne (David) Francesconi of Birmingham, Alabama, Jim (Katie) Crowley of Manchester, Missouri and Tim (Kim) Crowley of Durham, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Jack Crowley, Cara Crowley, Ryan Crowley, Carson Crowley and Eli Crowley; and one brother, Mikel (Linda) Head of Ponca City, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Judith has lived in Macomb since 1969. Judith graduated with an Associates degree from Oklahoma College for Women. After raising her four children she graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelors degree. She worked at True Value Hardware and was an executive assistant for Financial Planning Services in Macomb until her retirement. She bowled in the Macomb Women’s Bowling League and enjoyed golfing, playing bridge and having coffee with her coffee group at McDonalds. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Reverend Kelly Ingersoll officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb.
Memorials may be made to either the Robert and Judith Crowley Accounting Scholarship at WIU, WIU Athletics or Macomb High Athletics.
