Kenneth W. “Howie” Howell, 52, of Browning, passed away at 11:53 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
He was born on March 30, 1969 in Canton to Robert and Delores Rueger Howell. He married Cheryl Jones on April 26, 1997 in Macomb. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters Emme Howell of Browning and Addi Howell of Browning; his mother and step-father, Delores Howell (Jim) Miles of Ipava; one brother, David Howell of Ipava; one sister, Jaime (Kevin) Duane of Davenport, Iowa, his parents-in-law, Gary and Marsha Jones of Browning; three nieces, Elizabeth Howell, Katie Duane and Sydney Duane; one great-nephew, Chad Pratt and one great-niece, Hadassah Pace.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Howell and one half-brother, Greg Howell.
Howie has lived in Browning since 1997. He has worked for Woodrum Automotive as a Master Toyota Technician for over 30 years. He played guitar and sang in several area bands including Hogwild, Original Sequoia Drive, (the band he named) and Area 136.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
