Larry Parks, 85, of Macomb, formerly of Chicago passed away at 7:03 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024 at St. John’s Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born on March 29, 1938 in Macomb to Russell and Eleanor Barrett Parks. He married Anne V. Tokarchuk in 1979 in Chicago. She passed away on March 31, 2019.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Karen Stewart and one brother, Richard Parks.
Larry is survived by his sisters, Shirley Louderman of Macomb and Sandy (Dean) Chipman of Ipava, sister-in-law, Rosemary Parks of Macomb and several nieces and nephews.
Larry lived most of his life in the Chicago area before moving to Macomb in 2019. He worked as a librarian.
He was an Army veteran.
Grave side services will held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb with Matt Housewright officiating. There will be no visitation. 
Memorials may be made to the Macomb Public Library.
