Larry Rayl, Sr Obituary

Larry B. Rayl, Sr, 73, of Macomb, formerly of Blandinsville passed away at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at his residence in Macomb.
He was born on October 26, 1947 in Lewistown, Missouri to Kenneth James and Rose Leone White Rayl. He married Idola Yocum on June 4, 1994. She passed away on January 16, 2014.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Richard Rayl and twin brother, Gary Rayl.
Larry is survived by one son, Larry Rayl, Jr of Butner, North Carolina; three step-children, Priscilla Howell of Galesburg, Phillip (Carla) Lockwood of Bible Grove, Missouri and Keith Lockwood of Hannibal, Missouri, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Larry lived in Blandinsville most of his life. He was an Army veteran serving in Vietnam from 1966 to 1969.
He was a former member of the VFW and the Moose Lodge. He worked as a contractor for most of his life.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Private graveside services will be held in Glade City Cemetery in Blandinsville. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
