Lisa Patrice Woodrum Beck

Lisa Patrice Woodrum Beck, 36, of Chatham, Illinois passed away from natural causes at her mother's home in Macomb on June 24, 2023.
She was born on March 12, 1987 in Macomb to Greg Woodrum and Patti Brennan.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy J. Beck; step children, Brynlee and Carson Beck;  her father Greg (Mo Miller) Woodrum of Macomb; mother, Patti (Wayne A. Beck) Brennan of Macomb; brother, Mike (Kari) Woodrum of Macomb; nephews, Nick and Sammy Woodrum of Macomb; Paternal grandmother, Mary Virgina Woodrum of Macomb; Maternal grandmother, Agnes Brennan Ehrhart of Quincy; uncles Gary (Laurie) Woodrum , and Mike (Carol) Brennan and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Paternal grandfather, Wayne Woodrum and Maternal grandfather, J. Regis Brennan.
Lisa attended St. Paul's School and was a graduate of Macomb High School. She received her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science at Illinois State University and her Master's degree in Kinesiology from Western Illinois University. She was also a certified yoga instructor.
Lisa enjoyed anything outdoors, golfing, hiking, snowboarding, yoga, but mostly playing with her nephews whom she loved dearly. Sports were always a huge part of her life; she won a state title in gymnastics and also went on to the nationals placing fifth. Lisa loved baseball, softball, and was an avid Bears and Cardinals fan. Her Jr. High basketball team made it to the Elite 8. Lisa was also a huge animal lover.
Lisa had a vibrant personality with a smile that could light up a room. Her laughter was contagious, and everyone loved her quirky sense of humor. She loved big and all of her friends, family and everyone she worked with could feel the warmth of her love. She had a hunger for adventure and she lived life to its fullest. 
A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Macomb with Father Adam Stimpson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb. There will be no Visitation.  All friends are invited to a Reception to celebrate Lisa's life from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at the Macomb Country Club, 20 Hickory Grove.
