Louis Dan Kump. 85, of Macomb passed away at 7:36 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2020 at his residence.
He was born on October 13, 1935 in Clinton, Iowa to Daniel C. and Louise Rubsaman Kump. He married Hilda Richardson on June 5, 1955 in Springfield, Louisiana. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Mike (Lisa) Kump of Macomb; four daughters, Kimberly Turner of Macomb, Pamela (Marty) Williams Little Rock, Arkansas, Kayla (Todd) Corder of Macomb and Kristie Kump of Edwardsville, Illinois; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and two sisters, Barbara Landry of Rochelle, Illinois and Gloria Jean Best of Jackson, Mississippi.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Kevin Kump and two great-grandchildren in infancy.
Louis has lived in Macomb since 1979. He worked as an independent contractor. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a former pastor for the New Testament Ministries and was an awesome whistler.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb with Don Hightower officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Louis Kump Memorial Fund.
