Margaret Ann Knox

Margaret Ann Roberts, 59, of Colchester passed away at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2025 at her residence.

She was born on October 29, 1966 in Santa Monica, California to Davie and Linda L. Bowen McCoy. She first married Jeff Roberts. She later married Todd Knox on December 17, 2003. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, David (Kathryn) Roberts of Colmar and Reed (Morgan Rigg) Roberts of Macomb; one daughter Lanaya (Casey) Knox of Houston, Texas; 6 grandchildren, Tyler, Bo, Harley, Oliver, Freya and Ryley; sister, Rose (Larry Dunn) McCoy of Blandinsville and step-father, Gary Blansett of Macomb.

She was preceded by her parents; one son, Todd “TJ” Knox and one brother, David McCoy.

Margaret was a graduate of Northwestern High School. She had owned and operated Margaret Roberts Travel for 30 years. She and her husband, Todd later owned and operated the Grill on Market Street in Colchester for several years.

She loved her family, travelling, and new foods. She was a loving mother and grandmother, which was the main source of joy in her life.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services.

Memorials may be made to the ALS Association.
