Obituary

Marjorie “Jean” Waller, 85, of Macomb passed away at 11:55 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2022 at the Lamoine Retirement Living Center in Macomb.
She was born on June 19, 1936 in Barry, Illinois, Pike County to Harvey T. and Nellie M.  Faxon Williams. She married Keith Waller on January 30, 1955 in Industry. He passed away on May 29, 2020.                    
She was also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Scott Brewer; twin brother, Harvey Dean Williams and sister, Joann Hickenbottom.
Jean is survived by her children, Crystal (Steven) Brewer of Industry, Denise (John) Stoltz of Industry and Brian (Cathy) Waller of Macomb; eight grandchildren, Shawn (Emily Benedek) Brewer, Holly (Josh) McBride, Miguel Thompson, Michelle (Jermaine) Steele, Justin (Amy) Stoltz, Carissa (Brian) Kinman, Chelsea Waller and Cayla Waller; 13 Great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Carl (Nadeen) Williams of Decatur and several nieces and nephews.
Jean and her husband, Keith lived in Industry in their early married life and moved to Macomb in 1960.  She worked at Ford Hopkins, Haegar Pottery and Spurgeons all in Macomb and  volunteered at the MDH gift shop and  several other charitable organizations.
She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church of Macomb and the Wesley United Methodist Church Women’s Club and the Macomb Country Club. She was a member and past president of the Macomb Women’s Club. She enjoyed playing cards with the canasta group and especially enjoyed playing with and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Pastor Scott Grulke officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. A Celebration of Life for Jean and Keith will be held at the Macomb County Club from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022. All are invited.
Memorials may be made to the Macomb Women’s Club.
