Michael Shane Allen

Michael “Shane “Allen , age 57, passed away at his home in Macomb, on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 11 AM. He was born on July 25, 1965 in Macomb, Illinois the son of Pat Johnson Hainline and Macks Allen. He  married Crystal Paul in 1988 and had two children. He later married Karen Lussier in 2008.
He is survived by his wife Karen Allen, son Cameron Allen of Macomb, daughter Summer (Mario Mora) Allen of Aurora, Colorado, grandson  Nathaniel Allen, mother and step-father Pat and Dick Hainline of Blandinsville, stepson Stephen (Sarah) Lussier , grandchildren , Emma, Cameron, and Elizabeth of Fairfax, Vermont , and Robert Lussier of Lyndonville, Vermont, two brothers Shannon Allen of Jacksonville, Illinois and Aaron (Lisa) Allen of Macomb, and nieces and nephews Nicole, Corey, Xander, Nicollette, Sierra, Jhalen , Alexis, Langdon and Kyison. Shane also had several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Macks Allen.
Shane graduated from Northwestern High School in Siota, Illinois in 1983. He lived most all of his life in Illinois and had served in the U.S. Navy. Shane worked in manufacturing and was a fork lift operator. He enjoyed bowling, and all sports, especially  football and baseball. He was an avid Chicago Bears Fan, and was the #1 Chicago Cubs Fan.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Macomb American Legion.
