Michael Earl Hanelt, 73, of Hanna City passed away at 6:02 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on April 25, 1950 in Peoria to Earl A. and Margaret A. Weber Hanelt. He married Mary Rambke.
She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Collen Hanelt (Rick) Jackson of Macomb and Christy (Troy) Cash of Yates City and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He worked as a airport security guard. He was an Air Force veteran.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services.
