Nancy Cole

Nancy A. Cole, 78, of Macomb passed away at 9:12 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

She was born on July 7, 1942 in San Jose, Illinois to Robert A. and Rachel Postlewait Isham.

She is survived by her children, Pam (Nathan) Teslow of Macomb and Libby Barbour of San Tan Valley, Arizona; four grandchildren, Alexandra Creasy of Macomb, Austin (Mallory) Jackson of Macomb, Amanda Worster of Macomb and Sebastian Martinko of San Tan Valley, Arizona; 9 great-grandchildren and one sister, Susan Roush of Marseilles, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister-in-law and one brother-in-law.

Nancy lived in Colchester for many years before moving to Macomb in 2010. She worked at WIU as a plant service worker, Illinois State Police as a dispatcher and had a beauty shop in her home in Colchester. She also worked as a secretary at Memorial Hospital in Carthage and the Farm Bureau-Country Companies and at WJEQ.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester with Pastor Lauren Brown Jordan officiating.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Linda’s Fund.
