Nellie Katherine Barrett-Burton

Nellie Katheriine Barrett-Burton passed away at 4:55 a.m. on 10-10-2023 at Heartwood Avenue in Vallejo , CA. She was born November 11, the daughter of William Ray Barrett and Elizabeth Mary Shoup Barrett in Oklahoma.  
Survived by: two daughters Shirley J Burton-Vega of Vacaville, CA, Melinda L Burton of Angwin, CA, two sons George L Burton of Rodeo, CA and Steven R. Burton of Fairfield CA and brother Ray Barrett of Macomb IL and a son-in-law Vince Vega and Jami Burton daughter-in-law.  She had 5 grandchildren, Vincent Vega and daughter in-law Charlynn, Angela Vega-Mendoza and husband Jose, Shaleen Freitas and partner in life Pete, Clayton Burton and Sean Burton, two great grandchildren Angelica Vega and Gabriel Vega and great great-grandchild  Roman Resendiz. 
She was preceded in death by her Son Kenneth J Burton Jr., husbands Keneth J Burton and Vern Copeland, and four sisters and brother-in-laws Norma & Clifford Lange, Wilma & Dean Fugate, Alma & Raymond Armstrong, and Lenora (Jean) Forrest & (Bernard) Fitch and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb IL. managed by Clugston Tibbitts of Macomb IL at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023.
