Onnalee Eskridge, 93, of Macomb, formerly of Industry passed away at 9:57 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2024 at Macomb Post Acute Care in Macomb.
She was born on October 9, 1930 in Canton to George and Verna Carver Foote. She married James Ray Eskridge on November 25, 1951 in Lewistown. He passed away on June 10, 2007.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Onnalee is survived by three daughters, Barbara Eskridge of Cairo, Missouri, Rhonda (Bill) Hand of Excello, Missouri and Kathy (Terry) Prather of Rushville; two sons, Brad (Marlene) Eskridge of Industry and Greg (Monica) Eskridge of Industry; eight grandchildren, Adam (Stephanie) McMillan, Laura (Noah) Caldwell, Ryan (Haley) Prather, Aaron (Sarah) Prather, Austin (Addie Curry) Eskridge, Jason Eskridge, Ethan Eskridge and Ainsley Eskridge; 7 great-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
Onnalee lived most of her life in the Industry area before moving to Macomb in 2017. She was a farm wife and a farm hand. She was an avid gardener and grew and canned most of the food for her family.
She was a member of the Eastern Star. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, loved bowling and playing bridge.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Pastor Randy Burwell officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Industry Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Industry Fire and Rescue Squad, Transitions Hospice or the Industry United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund.
