Patricia Evans Obituary
Patricia E. Evans, 96, of Macomb, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, MI.
She was born April 4, 1929, in Macomb to Glen and Gweneth Mesecher; she married Wayne Evans on February 5, 1950. He preceded her in death in 2008.
She is survived by three daughters, Gwynne Worthington (Steve Ketcham) of Macomb, Tonna Padgett (Dave Steinke) of St. Joseph, MI and Kimberly Evans Carrigan of St. Joseph, MI; one brother Ron Mesecher (Toni) of Los Osos, CA; three grandsons, Clint Worthington (Julia) and Ryan Padgett (Stephanie Stauffer) and Jeremy Padgett, one step-grandson Nick Padgett (Deanna), two nephews Brad Payne (Sara), Brent Payne (Robyn) and one niece Lisa Krieg (PK). She also survived by numerous cousins and great and great great nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents.
Pat worked at Haegar Potteries for 40 years and farmed with Wayne.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 24, 2025 at Clugston Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Lyren Haney officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday October 23,2025 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Macomb VFW, Spring Creek Cemetery or Good Hope Cemetery.
