R. Scott Pittman, 50, of Colchester passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 in Havana.
He was born on March 22, 1972 in Macomb to Randall L. and Carol B. Wardell Pittman. He married Rhonda Hollenback on August 18, 2001 in Table Grove. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents, Randall and Carol Pittman of Colchester; three daughters, Samantha (Dale) Adams of Colchester, Savanah Pittman of Farmington and Lyndsey Pittman of Springfield; one son, Gene (Ashley) Carnes of Macomb; eight grandchildren including Madison and Colt, who called him Tetaw; one brother, Craig Pittman of Macomb and one sister, Stacie (Steve) Bowers of Shelbyville, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by one son, Steven Carnes and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He lived all of his life in Colchester and was a graduate of Colchester High School. He worked as a truck driver for D. Adams Transport.
Scott was bigger than life and would say, I’m Scott Pittman, I can do anything.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Family will meet with friends from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb.
