Robert Andrews Obituary

Robert Andrews, 94, of Macomb passed away at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Macomb Post Acute Care in Macomb.
He was born on May 1, 1929 in Macomb to Clifford and Bertha Bonwell Andrews. He married Linda Bedwell on December 14, 1960. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Bonnie Penzel of Arlington Heights, Alan (Cheryl) Andrews of Macomb, Deanna Andrews of Carmel, Indiana and Debra (Robert) Buck of Vermont; six grandchildren, Alex Penzel, Bonnie White, Brian (Ashley) Andrews, Blake (Alissa Gooding) Andrews, Brenna (Elijah Streadwick) Hickle and Jared Hickle; seven great-grandchildren, Seth Andrews, Damien Andrews, Jase Andrews, Ava Andrews, Cameron Andrews, Jackson Gossage and Brenzley Gossage and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Harold Andrews and Gaylord Andrews, and three sisters, Genevieve Holler, Margaret Ward and Lenore Salisbury.
Robert lived most of his life in the Macomb area where he worked for Haegar Pottery, McGraw Edison and then back to Haegar Pottery. He also worked as a farmer. He was an Army veteran serving from 1954 to 1956.
He attended the Argyle Bible Church. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, camping, being with his family and bird watching.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Argyle Bible Church with Pastor Samuel Kostreva officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.
Burial will be in the Argyle Bible Church Cemetery with full military rites being conducted by the Macomb American Legion and Macomb VFW.
Memorials may be made to the Argyle Bible Church.
