Robert Steven Tait

Robert Steven Tait, 67, of Industry passed away at 3:38 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2022 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
He was born on December 7, 1954 in Bangor, Maine to Robert L. and Madaline Buskee Tait.
He is survived by his children, Robert (Emily) Tait of Quincy and Nicole (Jarad) Royer of Industry; six grandchildren, Lawson Tait, Conner Tait, Aiden Tait, Hannah Royer, James Royer and Jarrett Royer; his siblings, Linda Tait of the State of Arizona, Sandra Tait of the State of Washington, Lee (Debby Herndon) Tait of Adair and Jeri Jae Tait of the State of Alabama and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister and brother-in-law, Vickee and Mark Taft.
 Robert moved to Industry in 1980. He later moved to Macomb. He moved to Missouri in 2001 before returning to Industry. He worked as a machinist for Webster Industries in Macomb retiring in 2001. He then worked for Buckhorn, Inc. in Springfield, Missouri until 2017. He served in the United States Air Force from 1975 to 1977.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Industry Fire and Rescue Department.
