Robert “Bob” Kuehner. 75, of Macomb passed away at 6:37 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2024 at Southwest Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa.
He was born on January 16, 1949 in Elgin, Illinois to Joseph Edward and Rose Schuett Kuehner.
He is survived by his sole mate and Fiancé, Becki McCoy of Macomb; three daughters, Monita (Derek) Alley of Cabool, Missouri, Melissa Sullivan of Pekin, Illinois and Shelly (Nathan) Stice of Burnside, Illinois; twelve grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Eugene (Betty) Kuehner of Mount Prospect, Illinois and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Edward Kuehner.
He has lived in Macomb since 1962. He worked as a self employed auto mechanic owning his own shop. He also worked managed Auto Zone in Macomb for many years as a commercial specialist. He was a veteran serving in the US Navy Seabees.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Pastor Caleb Sparrow officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb with full military rites being conducted by the Macomb American Legion and Macomb VFW.
