Obituary

Ronald G. Markley, 79, of Macomb passed away at 1:19 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
He was born on December 8, 1942 in Macomb to Harold B. and Gladys Kessler Markley. He married Linda Eberhard on August 28, 1962 in Bardolph. She passed away on March 26, 2018.
He is also preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Rick Mason and two brothers, Robert and William Markley.
Ronald is survived by his daughter, Christine Mason of Macomb; five grandchildren, Ashley, Tara, Brittany, Adam and Tyler, all of Macomb; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and very special friends, Ruth Dennis and Jon Keck.
He worked at King-Seeley in Macomb and also as a church custodian.
He was a member of the Industry Assembly of God Church.
The family would like to thank the Elms Nursing Home for their great care for Ronald.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no service.
Memorials may be made to the Ronald Markley Memorial Fund.
