Rosa Lee McCormick Gray

Rosa Lee Woolam McCormick Gray, 87, of Macomb, formerly of Bushnell passed away at 4:07 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
She was born on June 20, 1935 in Macomb to Lloyd and Virginia Price Woolam. She married Merlin McCormick on August 26, 1951. He passed away on February 7, 1993. She later married Ron Gray on June 20, 1998. He passed away on March 6, 2023.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother Richard Woolam and one sister, Evelyn Pittman..
Rosa Lee is survived by her children, Debbie (Jerry) Pestle of Bushnell, Kathie (Mike) McCleery of Bushnell, Sharon (Dan) Hundley of Avon, Tammie (Tim) Speer of Avon, and Tina (Ravi) Advani of Cleveland, Tennessee; three step-children, Susie Fowler of Macomb, Nina (Mark) Aeilts of St. Joseph, Missouri and Rudy (Sue) Gray of Industry; 17 grandchildren; 22  great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and her siblings, Frank Woolam, Betty Keithley, Robert (Cindy) Woolam and Don (Barbara) Woolam.
She lived most of her life in Bushnell before moving to Macomb in 1998. She retired from Bushnell-Prairie City Schools where she managed the kitchen staff. She loved to sew and crochet. She designed and made all 5 daughters’ wedding gowns and bridesmaids’ dresses. She loved to play the piano and sing in the church choir. She enjoyed having her family around her. For many years, she and Ron wintered in Arizona.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2023 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Pastor David Scott officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb.
