Ruanne L. Sikes, 85, of rural Macomb passed away at 11:38 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2025 at her residence.
She was born on March 27, 1939 in Macomb to Robert and Doris Mason Lindsay.
She is survived by her children, Jake (Wanda Manuel) Sikes of Montgomery, Alabama, William “Gene” (Connie) Sikes of Warsaw, June Keime of Bushnell and Jane Hasley of Bushnell; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one brother, Richard Lindsay of Nauvoo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert Lindsay.
Ruanne lived all of her life in the Macomb area. She worked at King-Seely and then was the head cook at the Everly House for 36 years before her retirement. She was a member of the former Bardolph United Methodist Church. 
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services.
Memorials may be made to the HSMC New Animal Shelter Project.
