Ruth Ann Chenoweth, 80, of Bushnell, formerly of Macomb passed away at 10:21 a.m. Sunday May 16, 2021 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born on August 18, 1940 in Eldorado Township, McDonough County to Mark W. and Murial Darline Dean Wilson. She married Jim Chenoweth on November 15, 1958 in Macomb. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Kimberly (Allen) Sprott of Spring Valley, Minnesota and Peggy (Jeff) Mappin of Macomb; grandchildren, Melissa Montgomery, William RF (Amanda) Harmon, Tasha Mappin and Bryce (Alexandria Rinehart) Mappin and great-grandchildren, Makenzie Ebert, Marcus Ebert, Christopher Montgomery, Trinity Montgomery, Harrison Harmon and Ulysses Harmon.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Larry Wilson.
Ruth lived in Macomb where she worked in the office of Chenoweth Implement for many years. She and her husband moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan before moving to Bushnell in 2013. She was a member of the McDonough County Genealogical Society and was an avid supporter of St. Jude’s.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Burial of ashes will be Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb.
