Shana Lynn Heap

Shana Lynn Heap, 54, of Macomb passed away at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on August 27, 1969 in Jacksonville, Florida to James and Vicki Petticrew Heap.
Shana is survived by her daughter, Kaylee Boyd and son,  D.J. York both of Macomb; the love of her life, Shannon Allen of Macomb; her beloved dog, Daisy Mae; her mother, Vicki (Bob) Lovejoy of Florida; a brother, Chad (Bianca) Heap of Florida; aunt, Janis (Jim) Ford of Burlington, Iowa and uncle, Lonne Heap of Monmouth.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Heap, paternal grandparents, James and Imy Heap and maternal grandparents, Don and Vilma Petticrew.
Shana lived in Florida for 27 years before returning to Macomb in 2014. She worked as an eye technician for 30 years most recently at Macomb Eye Associates.
She enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, fishing and anything her children wanted to do. She was a big Kansas City Chiefs fan and unfortunately a Chicago Bears fan also. She loved to craft with her friend, Lisa Allen.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Macomb Elks Club in Macomb on Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 1 to 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family would like you to consider that memorials be made to her young children and her final expenses.
