Steven R. Waughtel

Steven R. Waughtel US Navy MMACS(SS), of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, formerly of Smithfield, Illinois passed away on March 24, 2023 in Idaho.
He was born on August 17, 1983 in Macomb to Terry and Janell Perry Waughtel. He married Danielle Kos on 
May 19, 2010. She survives.
Also surviving are his daughters, Leala Hamill, Teagan Waughtel and Keira Waughtel; his father and step-mother, Terry (Sheryl) Waughtel; is mother and step-father Janell (Ed) Grimm; two brothers, John (Justine) Waughtel and Jackson Waughtel; two sisters, Paula (BJ) Kinne and Jessica Tomko; grandparents Jack and Joann Waughtel and nieces, Roscella Tomko, Josephine Waughtel and Jenna Kinne.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carol Blakley; grandfather, Roger Perry; grandmother, Nancy Blakley and one brother, Nicholas Foxall.
He was active duty in the US Navy.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Seville Bridge near Smithfield and  moving to the Cuba American Legion in Cuba, Illinois at noon.
A second Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the Navy Depot, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Please reach out to Danielle Waughtel for the services in Pennsylvania at waughtels.r.us@gmail.com.
