Tommy A. "Thomas" Thompson, 71, of Hamilton formerly of Macomb passed away peacefully with Linda and and his son, Josh by his side at 9:27 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2021 661 Broadway Street in Hamilton.
He was born on March 4, 1950 in Macomb to Kenneth and Dorothy Utley Thompson.
He is survived by his girlfriend Linda Gibson and one son, Josh Thompson of Macomb; his previous wife, Vicky (Larry) Dickey; brother Bob Thompson; sister, Missy Ward. Linda's son Pat (Kate) Leggett. grandchildren, Brant, Elle, Lilli and Valle.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ken Thompson and Jeff Thompson; and three sisters, Jane, Maryann and Barb.
Tommy was a truck driver for 40 years. He loved fishing with his best friend, Feren Hopp, racoon hunting with his dog, Annie and watching football. He loved spending time with his family.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be held from 11 to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb. Private burial of ashes will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb.
Memorials may be made to the Lee County Hospice.
